plan "f".......

So I'm on plan "f"of my week away....... Covid rared it's ugly head in Sydney so the theatre plans are off...... Visiting relos and friends in Sydney is off.......the quilt show is off..... Although I was changing my plans each day as things changed I'm glad the quilt show cancelled and hopefully I can go in Sept...... We are getting new dates for the theatre also.....
So I'm with my girl..... Found a patchwork shop while she was at work and did quilt a bit of damage but I found some precuts and I'm about to make a baby quilt or two with Later Alligator..... Unless I decide to start sewing the other two precuts i got instead.......woopssss well I'm missing the quilt show so what's a girl to do.....
also sharing a pretty view I took the other day......
Stay safe.....
Catch you later......
Chookyblue......

Oh, bummer that COVID took over your plans, but plan F looks like fun, too. :) Retail therapy for more fabric is always a good idea in my mind. Later Alligator looks like some very cute fabric for baby quilts.
Love that view!

Covid is sure ruining the plans of everyone. If the premier shuts the Qld border because of the Sydney out break it means i can't get over the border to see Mum again. Love your fabrics. Hugs, xx

How frustrating, to be so close to doing some happy things and have it ruined. Hang in there, when the going gets tough, the tough sew!!

Sorry for all the frustrating closings. We have had no new cases here in Maine for quite a few weeks, but I fear that is about to change with the beginning of tourist season and the influx of new people to the state. Hope things calm down for you there soon! Until then I hope you can hunker down in the Chookshed!

Such a shame COVID messed with your plans! We all just want this mess to be over! We opened up a bit more here but now the numbers are starting to climb again. I am so afraid we will end up restricted again. *sigh*

So many people feel that Covid is over and acting like they did back in 2019 and that is not correct--Covid is still here--even with the vaccines--they are not a cure-all--so the counts are going back up again--cause too many rushed the time out!!! But you did find some fun things to do and have time to spend with family and that is the best--
thinking of you--hugs, di

It's too bad plans are cancelled and rearranged but cudos to the event planners that don't pretend nothing is happening.

I'm glad they made a quick decision regarding the Craft Show reschedule. I was thinking cancellation... but now at least we still have hope... xox

I saw Plan F and wondered if I had missed a series of plans!...LOL

What a bummer re the Craft show - I really do hope ours in October can go ahead...Poor Sydney & poor visitors hoping to go - or - I guess like you - already there.

Gorgeous fabrics for a baby quilt . . one could wonder "who for". . .

Happy times with DD

Blast, Blast, and double Blast! At least you have some fabric as consolation. We were so lucky to get our quick trip to Qld in. Let’s hope your Sydney plans can go ahead later on.

Here in Melbourne we tend to take each day as it comes and expect change of plans any time. After so long in lockdown, reopening, closing, reopening I guess I just roll with it now. Disappointing for you but at least you have some lovely fabrics to play with. Keep safe.
