Apparently this Saturday 20th September is National Sew a Jelly Roll Quilt Day 2025
So as I need a quiet weekend I thought I'd see if anyone else wants to zoom and sew with me Saturday morning down under / Friday afternoon-evening on the flip side.........
Pretty sure I can dig out a jelly roll from the stash....... Or maybe pull out my jelly roll quilts that need borders.........
I'm thinking 6am-10am AEST
Really any excuse to sew will work for me.......
This week is pretty hectic with a few things on........ Actually every week seems like that lately....... But mostly it's all been good stuff........ But I have actually said no to a few things...... Shock.......Yes......
I just need more hours in my day then it would work..........I could fit it all in........
The daisies are flowering well in the paddocks...........

Love the daisies, such a happy colour....couldn't make last weekend, but will try this time.

Don't think I'll be sewing jelly rolls, but I do have leave from work, so I'll join in.
That sounds great. I could do the braid quilt that I haven’t done yet. Looking forward to it. I love the daisies. The paddocks must look fabulous.
I’ll be up before 10 as I have a friend coming then to sew with me for Jelly roll day. I think I am going to work on a teddy bear rug. I’ve had the pattern for a few years now. So I hope to catch you

Sounds like fun, but we will be on a car club excursion for the weekend. I do in fact have a jelly roll I could sew. September is always nuts for me with two full weeks taken up by the fair, then the annual Appalachian Adventure trip with the car club. After that, make the 4 hour drive and overnight stay to deal with MIL, and the month is over. National Sewing Month passes me by every year.
I’ll join you at some stage….not 6 am…lol…and no to a jelly roll project….but any excuse !

I can join you at 4 pm my time here in beautiful Canada where fall is thinking about starting but the weather is still pretty nice a 27. I even have a jelly roll nearby.
just looked it up and I think it is from 11pm onwards for me, so too late for me, but have fun!
Will be out for a family dinner to celebrate my birthday on September 20, so won’t be joining in. Will be home too late to join in. Have fun.
Would love to join, and have a jelly roll project that would be perfect, but I will be out. The Mountain out of service doing a hike.
