Flowers...

I am involved with organising some open gardens next year and while taking some pics in one of the gardens i took these gorgeous flowers............

I got motivated by Jodie to get a WIP finshed that I had started and tried to finish a bag to show you but things were not going as planned and I have had to unpick a lot so maybe later unless it goes into the WIP pile again to be buried for several months.............highly likely.......

........also received some purple chenille from Kerry in the mail and I am planning another bag so watch this space..........

Another bag finished........

Well I am not about to take Dale's crown as the bag lady but I am having fun and plans for another as soon as I get a little parcel from Kerry..........

............I stayed up to late last night and finished this one and tried to do this post but the net was not agreeing with me........

used my first magnet click and love it..........lucky I have another little pile of them..............

loved the Chenille in it................can't say what it is for yet but I enjoyed making it..............

Now about the last post on the SSCS...........yes the new Santa is Gail Pan................I still have a few people to reply..................

SSCS update...

Sorry everyone esle but this post is for the 83 santa's...........you can read along if you want

If you are in the swap you should have received an email from me by now.................

..........you must reply to the email and my goodness you people are efficient..........I sent the email and had a phone call and got the washing off the line and 11 people had replied so I started replying to the comments/questions etc and before I got to the end another 5 people had replied.............you are on the ball

very important ................a couple of people have told me what they are sending and said "is that enough - is that okay"...............OMG they have nothing to worry about and certainly have "enough" for the swap parcel...........

.........this wonderful present is not made by me but by the very talented *%%$&*# and being sent to the wonderful *$@$^%($..............lol I love being Santa's helper even if Janet, Doreen and Jodie are dying to know who is sending to them and what are they sending...........lol my lips are sealed..........secrets are one thing I am very good at.............

Also a challenge for the night................since I had someone drop out of the SSCS a very talented designer has joined to fill the spot instead of me making an extra present.............she has been added to the list of Santa's and you must leave a comment for me with who she is................I will be waiting for the comments.............

mind you there are some very amazing and extremely talented people in the swap and I am sure you just don't give yourselves the credit you deserve as many of you are worrying about being good enough (and this is not only in the swap).................stop it YOU ARE VERY GOOD.............you don't need to compare yourself to anyone................it is all about you..........do what you want and make sure you are happy cause we will still be here and checking in on you............

gardening and storms.........

Lots of carting and loading and unloading wood chip today......................my body will hate me tomorrow.......opps maybe that will be very soon sitting here................stiffness is starting to set in.........

Before on the top and after underneath............drought has had some effect on my garden.............lost some trees and now with some rain it is ideal time to pull them out.............

I can't show the final results as some lurkers are coming to visit early next month.............. aka cheryl..........and that is not the crazy Cheryl that I love to visit in the US either............

Storms are floating around here everywhere but I got the garden work done before anything happened..........I am in ............now it can rain

I all have some great mail this week..............books from Quilt shop USA

Especially wanted this pieced border book and it looks great .........

This box has a different sheet for each day with different blocks on them.....

Presents from Janet at Wildcraft Farm............why ?????? who knows she just must like me......lol....this is a "Quilt in a Card" and I had brought a "Kit in a Card" as I can now see they are very different but both wonderful ideas and I will be stitching this up very soon..........

and as she was putting that in the bag this chook pattern caught her eye and me being chookyblue she had to include it...............thanks heaps Janet

Also blogland is wonderful................a French girl has emailed me and Nicolette has assisted by translating for me............she wrote my answers in French and English so I could reply to her and know what I was writing...........it is so amusing as I am in Australia............speaking only English and the French girl only speaks French and Nicolette is in the Netherlands translating..............LOL............
