Best thing in the world........

RAIN

Yes after 4 - FOUR yes 4 months it is raining..............we had had a couple of showers in that time that didn't even measure up to 1mm so not counting them.................

One of the heavy showers...............if it wasn't so cool I would have gone out in it.........

Rain in the rooftop and rain on the windows..............the sound of rain on the roof is magic.........

Puddles............

Drips..............

Watering my garden...............yippee.................some water into the tanks...............

Well it isn't drought breaking yet but at least it can rain................64 points(16 mm) so far.............I am a happy girl..........just have to hope for some more........

I will leave you with my Jacaranda's that are flowering at the moment

---------------Take care-----------------

It's so nice to be able to see the blooms in your yard as our flowers are about done for the season. Yours are so pretty.

About 20mm here Donna - but of course I NEED to be in town tonight... ploughing through the black mud and all.
Your garden looks lovely in the rain, and you can't quite capture the scent of rain, no matter how delicious your photography is..mmm

I am so glad you finally got some rain. Your Jacaranda photos are lovely. As a kid my street was Jacaranda Drive and they were our street trees-I wonder if that is why I like purple so much?Enjoy the splishing and splashing!

There's nothing like rain when you need it! Love those Jacaranda trees. We don't have anything like that up here.

Woooohooooo! Happy rain dancing for you! Gosh, it is so much needed in Oz! So you have tanks too! My friend Cheryl just had hers installed! Seems like a necessity if you want a garden! Hope you have lots more rain! Keep well!

Great shots. And congratulations on getting the rain (something worth celebrating these days!).

I was tagged for a meme on my blog and got to the end and had the nasty, "tag five people," issue. So I decided to tag five people whose blogs I hadn't read until today. And you're one of them. I really like your blog and wanted to link to you. If you decide to take part, great, if you're not a meme kind of person, that is fine also. The meme will hit my blog tomorrow (Saturday).

Cheers,

Tanya.

Congratulations!

Rain! YESSSSSSS! We've just had three days of rain, the most since I moved here in June. Severe drought is not funny. Let's hope it keeps up. :)

We have had some storms over the last few weeks and have had about 4 inches, so I know how exciting it is. My tanks are full too.
