Our pet gular..........my new standard rose "Imp"
Look....look close and you can see our tomatoes have started to get fruit....yummy.......can't wait till they are ripe and we can start picking..........
Oyster plant..........
the strawberries are starting to get fruit also.......... things are growing very well can't wait to see them after some rain.........how long do we have to wait for some rain??????????The vegie patch - we have about 15 different things growing in the garden this year..........some things I never grow but the kids are so excited about growing and watching and checking things I have added a few things just for there pleasure..........hopefully it will survive our very hot weather..........we have nice days at the moment but the weather is so changy........one day hot and the next cool..........one night you are in winter pjs with the doors closed and then another you have summer pj's on..............weird............now we have the shade area this will hopefully make it better for the vegies when it is 40+.......................
we found this bird nest in the white cedar tree.........not sure who is nesting in it.......
the kids having fun...............look how dry it is outside our garden............we are desperate for rain and no sign of it to come for awhile yet..........I am just ignoring the paddocks.............it is to depressing..........we will be selling some stock in the next fortnight................take care...............

What great photos...I love watching a veg garden develop. Here we had carrots and lettuce from our garden last night!
It’s so nice to see you are enjoying all the outbursts of nature in Spring. It’s a typical blue bird nest!
Beautiful pictures today. It's wonderful to think that while our world is going into it's fall and winter hibernation, yours is just coming alive...
I wish I could send you some rain, we have a lot if it these days as a matter of fact it is raining each and every day and will be for the next week I think.
OhMyGosh that bird is gorgeous. And the view out back is beautiful too!
Oh your bird is gorgeous! And she goes so lovely with the beautiful rose! Doesn't look like it will be too long before you have tomatoes running out of your ears! ;)
Love your pretty pink collage.
Love all your closeup photos.
I agree, where is the raiiinnnnn?????
I could only image what it is like out there.
Maybe rain dances are called for?
Hey Donna, Love the photos I agree it is very depressing with no rain at the moment in my garden only the fittest are surviving we can only water for 3 hours a week.
We would like some rain here in Adelaide too. Your photos are lovely.
Despite your dry paddocks, you have plenty of beauty in your home paddock. Love seeing the vegi garden and that rose is just beautiful. I have spent all day in my garden today, and tomorrow looks like a hot one, but maybe we will get some rain next week. Beautiful photos!
Love your pictures, but now you've made me very homesick for the Australian summer :)
I don't think I have ever seen a more beautiful bird! We are just getting into fall here, and my tomatoes are shriveling on the vines.
