they look good...but if I had been asked I might have thought a belted galloway was a type of trenchcoat...LOL...I'm obviously not a farm girl!

I always swore that if I ever had enough space I would get belted galloways. I don;t and never will have but am hoping to talk my sister into getting some for me ;-)

What do you mean by saying "belted"?

They are so cool looking. I had no idea what they were either. My dh and I were out exploring (our way to get to know our surroundings better) after we first moved to Texas and found a herd of them. The first time you see them it makes you wonder about them, doesn't it? I researched on the net and found out what they were. But to this day we both call them oreo cows. I think they are nearly as cute as Jersey cows. I hope the kids enjoy them, Elaine from Texas

We call them Oreo cows here in Ohio. That is because like the cookie they are black on both ends and white in the middle.

Such excitement..... Sounds like the long weekend was interesting as usual. Thinking of you all freezing at the Rodeo.
I'm snuggled up on the lounge today feeling sick and sorry for myself with a cold.
