it's wet really wet..........

It's wet .............really wet......
......how to make my life stop for awhile...............over 3.5 inchs of rain in 48 hours will do it......
......probably stuffed the rest of harvest but everything stops at my place with this much rain...........kids have had a couple of wet days at home from school........unless it is urgent I am not going anywhere..........
the rain has stopped for a little while just now but we have inches forecast for the rest of the week so who knows what we will end up with............
If you live anywhere in southeastern Australia you have probably had some rain....
.....and some areas way to much and got some flooding..............but as we can't control it we just have to take what we get when we get it and be happy...........
Tomorrow is the first day of summer and it sure won't feel like it..............with a top so far of 18 deg cel I hardly think it will be a heatwave tomorrow..........
Take care

Oh send some of that rain to NZ. It is so dry here at the moment!! I hope it hasn't ruined your harvest.

that is a lot of rain. good you get a chance to exhale, but the timing is so bad. Wouldn't mind the cooler weather though, just for a day or so.the garden is looking lush and green though.

Wow, that is alot of rain. I wish you could send even just a little bit of it our way. We are in the wheatbelt in WA where it is very hot and very dry now. I love looking at the photos on your blog.
Hope everything is okay with your crops.

Oh well Chooky at least the grass is nice and green, we still haven't had any rain here, but maybe it is on its way - shame about the crops

I hope your crops are ok. Why can't the world share it's rain out fairly. We could do with a good soaking shower right now. Most crops are already in 'cos it's been so poor this year.

wow, that is indeed a lot of rain. But as much as I know, you do need it urgently, don't you? I also hope, that your crops have survived.

Looks like you got the bum on the mower!

Yes I agree with all of the dozen before me. We have had just enough rain in Geelong for it be "nice". However on the way to Melbourne on the train I saw many paddocks with water and the horses standing in the far corner of one paddock on a dry bit.

Oh no! Apart from the not going anywhere bit. I love to stay home and not go anywhere. We have had a little here, but not much really. Just enough to keep the green going for a bit longer.

very wet here too - sorry about harvest. I'm sure my dad has something to do with all the rain in his new abode up in heaven. I told mum to tell him, enough now. Hope your boy is ok.

That is a lot of rain. We are getting rain today which will turn to snow tomorrow if the forcast is right. This is our fall to winter time here in Ohio. I will take the rain over snow anytime but like you said we have no control over what we get. I try not to go out much when it is snowy. Hope it dries up soon for you. And warms up.

Gosh I think the rain mostly missed where I live & you copped the lot from the looks of it. Lucky us we've got more rain forecast! With luck it will fall in the catchments!
We sure do need the rain :)

Goodness, that's a lot of rain in a short go. Sure hope your crops aren't done for. How strange. It was also wet growing year for crops and gardens where I grew up, which is half a world away from you. Like you said, not much we can do about it, but I hope things will turn out right for you.

Hello Donna,

Enjoy that cool weather and rain. We have had our hottest Spring especially this month. No rain like that we had 11.5 mls for November. So your photo's have cooled me of no end.
Hope the locusts don't breed up.
Happy days.

That's a lot of rain! I hope your crops ar OK. It has been cold and very windy here and snow n the local hills near my house. Do you usually get that much rain in the Spring? We are dry most of the time here. Sorry about the US charging that extra postage...our postal service is a big mess...that's a crock to charge an extra amount for security!

Same here Chooky - all we can see are fog and rain.

wow, all that water. I hope you don't get too wet.

Yep.....rain and thunder here and it sounds like it has set in now - very steady. Will need some towels at the ready when I get home tonight - I think there will be too very wet dogs waiting to come in. Am puppy-sitting Lexi the blunder dog at the moment...she and Rose are playing up! Why stay indoors when it is wet and muddy outside..much more fun to dig holes when it's wet!
