Holiday snaps......

During the last week we managed to get a few days at the beach.............it's a big drive but was nice for a few days away.........
Thanks goodness the day we had to go to the beach I "HAD" to meet up with "Dawnie"
We had a lovely coffee and chat..........thanks so much for meeting up Dawnie.........and also to Suzie for coming along oh and for morning tea.............it was lovely to see both of you.........Dawnie brought her Gardener's Journal Quilt and it is coming along well .........all the Dawniefications are great.......can't wait to see it finished next time we catch up.........I did send her home to sew......lol..........we get to catch up again in a few months...........why is it so when you meet up with blog friends it is always so nice and easy chatting..........precious..........thanks for picking me up too Dawnie..........
thank goodness we got a little carried away and chatting for a bit longer as I MISSED some of the beach time.............THANK GOD.........I did have to spend about 30 mins on the beach but that was all............
can't you tell I just LOVE the beach............NOT...........anyway the family do and they spent some more time here............
these are random pics in no order from the few days away.............
the waterfalls on the way were flowing well............
oh course I am always looking out for flowers to take pics of.........this one was full of ants...........
Leanne you will be impressed I found a jetty and i think this may nearly be the first one I have wandered out on..............it is a beautiful walk...........and NO sand............
a bit of rainforest along the way............
more jetty...........
a glimpse of the ocean...........
close encounters of the CRAZY kind.............this distance was OK - FANTASTIC even............
a black headed python..........
this I was FREAKING OUT.............
not sure why I love my kids.............they would not let me avoid this.............
little treasures aren't they...........
trick may be not to tell the snake man you HATE snakes............
A very pleasant 33-34 here today...........36 to 39's forecast for the next week...........
Catch you later..............

Ebor falls I see I will have to show Tony that it was blowing a gale and freezing cold the day we went after leaving your place. I can not believe you don't like the beach but I am so pleased you did like a stroll out the jetty. Well done on the snake handling.

Beaches = sand, hot sun, sand, and waves that put wet sand in unmentionable places, then you get salt hardening on you what a nice day out NOT!!! How about some tips about getting out of going to the beach with the family, mine also love the beach (what is wrong with these people!!!) Doesn't matter how much you slip slop slap you still come home burnt. You have been to my part of the world glad you loved it. - Louise

Lovely photos of your holiday. There is just NO WAY that you would get a snake wrapped around my neck. Very brave. I'm glad you were able to avoid so much beach time with a very legitimate excuse. It would have been a lovely alternative.

Lovely drive up the Waterfall way - we did that 12 months ago - yes we were the idiots who had the Caravan, we cooked the gearbox and popped a hub on the van axel - you may remember the cattle grid? did you see our hub cap by any chance?

You did it - but I can tell from your face that you didn't enjoy it. Gorgeous holiday pics, I love the jetty ones looking out to sea.
