Well I finally got to a lesson that I have been dreaming of doing for 1-2years now...........probably really since I went to my first quilt show in Sydney in 2008...........mariners compasses have been drawing me in.............but never sure how to start or what to do...........so early this year I booked into a workshop at The Home Patch (Anni Downs' shop) with Chris Jurd.............
Finally Saturday came and I had so much fun.............it was a great class.........Chris was a very good teacher..........
I have set myself a huge amount of homework to do before I go back later this term............
And as a little bonus I got to have afternoon tea with some friends.......... the girls had deadly looking desserts..........but as I hadn't had lunch since I was too busy sewing so I had some yummy hot chips and garlic aioli.......and an iced chocolate.......
Catch you later..............
Chookyblue
