feeding sheep.........

The upside is I am feeling better.......taking little walks in the house.......
the little lamb died........probably didn't get colostrum since it was not cleaned up.......bit sad but one less job to do and I couldn't manage it at the time.........
Some pics from the other day.............
Sheep are much easier to feed in a drought then cattle...........
the only food they get is from the feed cart.............they all come running.......
you have to work out how many are in the mob and then how much grain they need and wait until they all get in so they all get a go at the feed for the same amount of time............
born today this little one knows he has to stick with mum to survive.........
the little ones gather together..........
while I am laid up i'm trying to work on the bookwork.........
your support means a lot my friends........
thankyou.....
Catch you later...............

Good to see you are brighter. Sad about little lamb, but you guys are really busy. So if you can manage bookwork, how about a little hand sewing?

Make sure you get lots of rest to heal Chooky. Good to see the lambs know what to do.

Might not be much consolation to you right now, but the noise (tv/news/radio) is getting louder each day about helping you guys financially We hear a lot more every day all the way over here, so hopefully the right people are getting pressure to stick their hands in their pockets for you with more relief packages. I know it's not much but it's something. xx

Seeing the tiny lambs is when I miss the farm, but tis a worry having the lambs with no feed. Do hope you will finally get some govt assistance. Thinking of you all, and hoping you are up and about real soon.

It's a pity the lamb died. But that's life too. I'm glad you feel better today. At anycase you can do the bookhold. That's work also.

Hi Chooky. I am glad you feel better today. It is always sad when an animal dies but, as you can, new are born. This is the circle of life. Take care of yourself. Kisses, my friend.

Oh no! I've been absent for too long. I missed your mishap and I'm so sorry. I wonder how you keep up your cheerful spirit when life gives you these speed bumps! I'm sorry about the lamb. I hope you are back on your feet soon, but in the meantime I truly hope you get a little stitching time to yourself!

Glad to hear that you are feeling a little better. Sad about the lamb, but that is how it sometimes goes. Have fun playing with those books. Then you can come and do mine. At least they will be up to date.

I'm glad you are feeling better. You are such a hard worker; i'm not sure I could survive it all. Happy that your injuries weren't any worse. Take good care of yourself.

Glad you are getting a bit better, but hope you can still take time to get 100% before you have to get out there again xxx

Was sorry to read of your accident and all the struggles on the farm, Chooky. Relieved to hear how you're up and about - knowing how hard it must be for you to spend anytime on the lounge as you are such a active, get'r done woman! Keeping you in my thoughts and hoping for good things ahead for you! xo
