Hey fellow bloggers........
it's r u ok day...
Sometime's I feel like I'm all alone trying to juggle all, work, kids, calculations of food and money budgets, ordering, feeding working on and off farm......at present it's just work work work.......all day everyday is just the location that changes........
But.....
Then I get a random text, email, calls, mail etc........ It's from you lot my support crew......
They always make me smile.....

This is a time that is really challenging for me ........ I do choose to do what I do but at present there is no stop time...........it will rain one day properly ........ I will make it to the other side battered and bruised so to speak but it will make me a stronger person too......
So life is up and down but I try to find the ups to beat the downs.......
You never know really what's going on in someone's life so take the time to stop and ask

And really stop and listen to there answer........

Good post chooky, thanks for letting us know, and yep it's all of lifes events that make us the people we are, but pretty hard road on the way through, hoping for decent rains before too long
Listening and not always trying to “fix” just listen......a lesson I am still trying to learn......good on ya chookyblue. One day closer to rain....😘

So glad to hear from you Chooky. When the word drought is mentioned I always remember the last time you were suffering very badly - I think it was when you had those people from overseas staying with you? I know you came out the other side of that - in tact, albeit briefly. Wishing you all the best. All our thoughts are with those on the land.

You are such a strong woman. Not sure I could handle all that with so much grace and perseverance. And here we are with localized flooding, and more to come with Hurricane Florence. Keep on keeping on!
So many of us feel the same way...hang in there because that is what I am doing right now.

Happy to hear you are hanging in there despite these enormous struggles. My neighbor had friends visiting last week from Adelaide and we talked at length about the struggles farmers have when there is no rain. She said she felt guilty going to the beach when there were so many people in Australia needing water.

Glad you’re ok. Everyone has ups and downs and trials in their lives....no matter where we live. Life has been crap for us this year....but it’s just one foot in front of the other....one day at a time. And it’s our tribe that gets us through xx
