Wow! What a find! I have not heard of an echidna so I googled it. It looks like a porcupine to me. I have always been intrigued with the unique animals of Australia and Africa.

An old indigenous man once told me if these guys are on the move it means rain?? I also know if you run over one say goodbye to your tyres.
