Rusty collection.......

those who have been on zoom may have seen this pic.....my rusty old machine collection........I have a couple more in another spot also.........9 here so I think I have 11 in total..........always happy to gather a few more.........the one on the front left that still has some board on it I have since sat it on some bricks in the garden....
see my cute little chickens on the edge of the pavers too.....
I've got a bit more of Lucy joined......
Was thinking we may be able to zoom next Saturday but we have a planned power outage so unless it gets too wet during the week and it gets canned that won't work........so I'll keep working on a plan and get back to you when I work something out.......
pic of the dam...........I've been over here for many trips as I need to start a pump every time I want to water the garden........yesterday there was more of an issue with the old pipes so we got the wheel of death down from the neighbour's and dug trenches to lay new pipe.....what a crap job on a very hot afternoon....I faded and called in assistance.......we would never have got it finished last night..........still got some trenches to dig from the end of the trench to the pump by hand but I will pass on that job.........
ALSO in that job we ran a new power supply for the Chookshed so I can get a bigger air conditioner in there.........OMG I cannot wait for that.........
My poor little air con is just not big enough but runs off normal power.....
Anyway.....that's enough for one post......hope you are all well......
Catch you later......
Chookyblue.......

Your rusty machines do work well in the garden, ushering you to the Chook Shed. Lucy is going to be so very pretty. I love the photo of your dam in the low light. Where you live can be so scenic. How exciting to prepare to upgrade your air con. Fingers crossed that we do get a Zoom day before too long……whatever works best for you.

Lucy is very pretty, love the rusty crusty machines.....they have done their job and still give you pleasure. Water in the dam is always good, did you get any rain from yesterday/last night's storms?

Your machines look wonderful, love the row of chickens. Lucy is looking great, looking forward to zoom when you can. Beautiful photo over the dam. Sounds like hard work digging the trenches, but great to get better power to the chookshed.

It would be interesting to know the history of the rusty collection. A least a positive came out of a negative situation.....your new air con will be a great bonus.

How fun, rusty sewing machines as yard art! It was hard to see, but I did make out your chickens on the edge of the pavers.

While you’re hot with green grass, we’re cold with ice and a furnace running.

I love rusty old items in the garden ..... I had to depart with a number of mine over the past 3 moves, but managed to keep a few items (old butter churns and old hand cement mixers - no sewing machines but I love that idea of using them to line the path edges!!!) What a pain about having to dig trenches but bonus for the upgraded power to your shed!!

You just HAVE to be comfy in your sewing space to enjoy it. Yay for a larger air conditioner!!!
Lucy gets more and more beautiful as she grows.
I am thrilled to see your sewing machines lined up along the walkway - so cute!!

all well here but it is VERY cold, so no sympathy from me on the heat though I do know we need the air conditioning when it gets to be your kind of hot!!!

If you're talking about Saturday 22nd, that's my weekend to work. But I'm free the following week. :-)

You picked a hot day for trenching no wonder you needed help. The machines look great and so do the chicks. Great news about the air con.
