Watched the Olympics opening ceremony and the highlight for me was Celine Dion...... I just watched the documentary I Am Celine Dion....... Celine is amazing and I'm thrilled that she could perform that song.......stiff persons syndrome is so cruel and to see what she has been/is going thru I am in awe of her performance.......I could watch it over and over.................
I'll watch what I can and get my fix of Olympics when I can.......
Mr Chooky set up the TV for me........I don't normally watch it.........

Yes it was bitterly cold here yesterday and isn’t much better today. At least the sun is out. It’s going to be -3 here over night. Keep warm and happy binding. I’ll be doing that this evening too.
Sounds like the perfect way for you to spend the day. I am not into the Olympics and shall be grumpy trying to avoid them lol.
Sounds like a lovely way to spend a cold winter day. We are sweltering in heat here in the US, too hot and humid, and it has rained every day for a week now. Too much, even though the rain is needed, we need some sunny days for the farmer's crops.

yes celine's performance was awesome...warm here of course...nice cool sleeping night tho for a change..not a sports fan but do like watching olympics

Pretty flower. It will be cold today. O degree temp this morning. :( I saw Celines performance on the news & that is was awesome.
Very cold/wet here too & feeling rather "blah". Don't mind a bit of Olympics, but rather car racing/skating/cricket as sport on TV. Be good to get outside walking or gardening & we need to cut more firewood. Take care & stay warm.

Summer here and just too warm to be outside for any length of time. Today was relatively cool at 28C, but the heatwave returns tomorrow.

It is chilly everywhere on the east coast....Wonderful performance by Celine...The sport doesn't interest me much - some gymnastics would be good though.
Oh how I long for winter! It has been so hot and humid here in Maine this summer. I wholeheartedly agree that we need to seize every moment. Celine is a remarkable woman and in my opinion the best diva of all time. I am always glued to the winter Olympics, but I am trying to watch as much of the summer games as I can. I am also really trying to get back into blogging. Maybe if I set a timer and promise myself one morning a week, I can try to catch up. Enjoy the day!
I don't like Winter! But then I don't like Summer either ... give me Autumn.
Celine was amazing and I'm enjoying time in front of the TV watching Olympics while sewing/crocheting. The dogs are happy too on my lap under the rug ... nothing comes out of my house without a dog hair or two.
It is hot and muggy here and I'm watching the Olympics while working on my QAYG Chevron blocks. Any excuse, eh!
