I have that ruffling foot to my Husqvarna machine, but don´t understand who to use it, have no instructions.....but it seems to be fun and easy (?)
I love the ruffling. I have a ruffling foot on my Grandmother's old treadle Singer sewing machine, Mum and I used it to do asome of my deb dress (20 years ago). I did't know you could get the same foot for newer machines.
I'm going to see if I can get one for my machine, looks so much easer than doing the old gathering method of pulling strings!
I could not live without a ruffling foot...I had one for my old 1965 top of the range then Singer and it was the first (over expensive) thing I had to add to my Husqvarna D1.
Helena there should be instructions in the packet. Or can you take it to a Hus shop and get them to show you how.
Mind you .......it did not help me get the fabric I had chosen ruffled and on to the two Christmas cushion tops I made last year around now.
How amazing....I have never seen such a foot in all my time spent sewing.
Dianne said.. I have just bought a ruffler foot for my new Pfaff 4.0 so they are still out there on even new machines. Saw it demonstrated and thought it looked great. Nice to see your foot and something actually finished off so beautifully using the special foot. I shall have to get working on using mine too.
I have a janome too and I have never seen one of those feet. Great idea I will have to check this out and get one myself.
