Redwork Cushion Swap sent..............

Finally I can show you some secret sewing..............this stitchery was from a country threads mag I think...........just found it one day and knew I had to stitch it...............

"Flutter by the Flower Pots"

totally forgot about a square cushion when stitching this up............so added some red chenille for a bit of texture and to square up the middle..........then it had to have a little blue.........you know me..............

some of the creatures.............

I sent this pillow to Margaret at Cosmos and Chrysanthemums.............hope you liked it Margaret...............thanks heaps to Maree On My Verendah for organising the swap..............

next post I'll show you what I received from Kris

.........take care til next time.............
.......Chookyblue..........

I'm thinking that your cushion looks like a Wendy Dillon design....one of my favourite Australian Redwork Designer's. You've done a great job Chooky...I am in love with the RED chenille...gosh why don't I see gorgeous colours like that around here.
