WARNING......
Do not go looking for pieces of a block
(that you don't find anyway)
and find a very pretty charm pack
and leave it on your table at 10.30PM............
table (just to see what it look like)..........then you just can't stop and you will have to start joining
them.......and then well let's just try this for a border............. oh
and maybe I should find something for the backing and OMG what have I
got.........get the batting (ready for the morning) but oh
no instead of going to bed I keep going and put it all together..........but
then instead of going to bed I then start to quilt it.........opps need to
go to the kitchen.........OMG it is 2AM..........I have got to go to
bed...
....no wonder my eyes were starting to feel tired........but I went to
bed with a warm fuzzy feeling of creating and slept well.......just a bit of
quilting to do on the borders and bind it and it will be done............off
for a nanna nap......I am so tired.........
Take Care til next time...............

Hey DOnna! Oh! I laughed so hard!! That's exactly what I usually do!! Except, last night, I was a good girl and instead of following through my 'brillian new idea' that I had in the shower (why do I think better in the shower?!?!!?) I decided I really needed to go to bed ... and I lay away for ages, planning my new project in my head - should have just got up and done it! Tee! Hee! Hee! And can I say, your impromtu quilt is looking exceptionally pretty! :0) Enjoy your nanna nap and we'll wait with bated breath to see the finished quilt. Bear Hugs! KRIS
Wow!! It looks awesome! I love the fabrics and pretty colours.
sounds totally normal to me!
Love your 'Fuzzy Feeling' quilt, though you are a Naughty Girl for staying up so late! Listen to Mama!

Such gorgeous fabrics - know exactly how you feel. Looking forward to seeing the whole quilt.
O.M.G you are a worry Donna.....yummy fabrics... what are they?
Hey Donna...looks great...just can't stop a great idea (quilt) when it comes....I'm like Kris...do my best thinking in the shower, where there is never a pen and paper handy!
take care Julz
Thankyou I had a really good chuckle as that is exactly what I do to . It was worth it that quilt is so pretty .
There is something magical that happens late at night in the house when all are asleep and you get a second wind of creativity. And 2 am seems to be the slowing down time and hopefully you are close to a stopping point, because, well you have to go to bed so you can get up in the morning....
Cute quilt.
Hey I have a new web site - please come on by, I have a give away going on.

As always, I enjoy your blog.
Sounds like we are all with you. How could you stop with pretty fabric like that. Great to have that fuzzy feeling when you go to bed???
Great quilt
It looks great, not sure I could produce something that neat so late at night!
I understand completely! Many a night I've gone into my sewing room to turn the lights out, and the next thing I know, it's 2 or 3 am. Love your quilt and fabrics.
sounds oh so familiar - why do we do this....and yes thinking in the shower is good. So what time did you get up this morning then?
Love it...sleep well my pretty...you did a great job!
You are crazy!!! I need my sleep too much to do that but that is very pretty fabric!! What is it?? Can't wait to see it all finished!
It's beautiful!
*LOL* It looks great, what I can see, but I would like to see it all! This is often the best time to sew, everyone else gone to bed and peace in the house.
You must be a lot younger than me I would hate to see something I was sewing at 2am. I love Larry the lamb.
Your quilt looks great! And the farbric are so sweet and beutyful :o
I have so done this many times, it is a trap, but a great feeling to have done that much.
cheers
Christine
You're my type of gal - FANTASTIC!!!!! sleep tight tonight
Those Charm Squares would have had me in too... Sew... Pretty ! Addictive Stuff Fabrics...
For a quilter the best hours of the day are during the night. The quilt looks gorgeous!
While I don't actually do much sewing at night, I have spent many a sleepless night in bed planning projects in my head! Then I'm sleepy the next morning and kick myself for staying awake so late!
Love the charm pack you chose. Lovely and sweet! What is it?
It's never just a peek...I've done the same myself. Very pretty fabrics.
Looks like a sweet quilt! Hope you get a nap today! LOL
LOL you are so cute. Yesterday my DD was talking about a tablerunner she made last year and that I have "worn out" on my table. I went into my sewingroom, found a couple of charm packs for her and when I went up to her room to say good night she was playing with them all over her table. I guess she will start sewing them together this evenig. So charmpacs are addictive.
What a pretty soft quilt. I would have messed that up so late at night. I am an early morning person...
Hi,
This is a wonderful blog. I love to see beautiful handiwork here.. :)
Woohoo! I loooooove that! No wonder you couldn't stop. No make that "shouldn't" stop. When you are on a creative roll you have to go with it baby! Can't wait to see it finished, it's lovely.
I know very well the feeling...
With me is like the same, I beguin something and I forgot the time,I go working just to finish, tired but happy!:)

I love your blog!! i am new to blogging and your hints and tips have been invaluable to me. Thank you!!!
I too have had an "un put down able" project and sewn long into the night! Isn't it a wonderful feeling when you get up in the morning and look at what you have created!!
Wow, you are amazing, that machine must have been threatening to take flight. Great looking, too.
