warning...........

WARNING......
Do not go looking for pieces of a block

(that you don't find anyway)

and find a very pretty charm pack
and leave it on your table at 10.30PM............

Otherwise you will just have to pull it apart and lay it on the
table (just to see what it look like)..........then you just can't stop and you will have to start joining
them.......and then well let's just try this for a border............. oh
and maybe I should find something for the backing and OMG what have I
got.........get the batting (ready for the morning) but oh
no instead of going to bed I keep going and put it all together..........but
then instead of going to bed I then start to quilt it.........opps need to
go to the kitchen.........OMG it is 2AM..........I have got to go to
bed...

....no wonder my eyes were starting to feel tired........but I went to
bed with a warm fuzzy feeling of creating and slept well.......just a bit of
quilting to do on the borders and bind it and it will be done............off
for a nanna nap......I am so tired.........

Take Care til next time...............

Hey DOnna! Oh! I laughed so hard!! That's exactly what I usually do!! Except, last night, I was a good girl and instead of following through my 'brillian new idea' that I had in the shower (why do I think better in the shower?!?!!?) I decided I really needed to go to bed ... and I lay away for ages, planning my new project in my head - should have just got up and done it! Tee! Hee! Hee! And can I say, your impromtu quilt is looking exceptionally pretty! :0) Enjoy your nanna nap and we'll wait with bated breath to see the finished quilt. Bear Hugs! KRIS

There is something magical that happens late at night in the house when all are asleep and you get a second wind of creativity. And 2 am seems to be the slowing down time and hopefully you are close to a stopping point, because, well you have to go to bed so you can get up in the morning....

Cute quilt.

Hey I have a new web site - please come on by, I have a give away going on.

As always, I enjoy your blog.

I understand completely! Many a night I've gone into my sewing room to turn the lights out, and the next thing I know, it's 2 or 3 am. Love your quilt and fabrics.

*LOL* It looks great, what I can see, but I would like to see it all! This is often the best time to sew, everyone else gone to bed and peace in the house.

You must be a lot younger than me I would hate to see something I was sewing at 2am. I love Larry the lamb.

For a quilter the best hours of the day are during the night. The quilt looks gorgeous!

While I don't actually do much sewing at night, I have spent many a sleepless night in bed planning projects in my head! Then I'm sleepy the next morning and kick myself for staying awake so late!

Love the charm pack you chose. Lovely and sweet! What is it?

It's never just a peek...I've done the same myself. Very pretty fabrics.

LOL you are so cute. Yesterday my DD was talking about a tablerunner she made last year and that I have "worn out" on my table. I went into my sewingroom, found a couple of charm packs for her and when I went up to her room to say good night she was playing with them all over her table. I guess she will start sewing them together this evenig. So charmpacs are addictive.
