hey..........

Wow so pleased you are all excited about the sewing party for the "Chookshed"...........there's going to be lots of us........
get your projects prepared over the next few weeks and prepare to sew up a storm..................
so far we have girls from all over Australia, New Zealand, USA, Norway, Iceland......
it's not to late to join in.....just clear the weekend 31st May 1st June...........just tell the family you are busy and they have to feed themselves......DO NOT DISTURB!!!!
AND very exciting i have some sewing buddies joining me in real life too...........
I know a few of you are away on retreats anyway and a few of you are going to get some buddies together to sew with and some of you will just be sewing on your own.........it doesn't matter how you do it so long as we are sewing together that weekend...........even just a day..........
The sky I took a few weeks ago and forgot to share with you..............I love cloud watching..........
some of my mother's day flowers.............potted colour that I can plant in the garden.......
I got to spend the day with my babies........
not that they are babies anymore but I still call them my babies.....

You don't know me Chookyblue, but I also am on a farm. Last year wasn't the best we have ever had, but things are much better this year - i.e. if the taties we have sent away get paid for, as well as those we are still to dig. But enough of that. I had a great early Mother's Day with my three kids and three grandies coming together for the youngest's 1st birthday, then the real Mother's Day, with a lunch. My babies are 36, 33 and 30. The littlies are 3 and a half, 16 months and 1year. I babysit 3 days per week and "lovin' it".

Looking forward to the sewing weekend. Would love to be there for real but will still be fun!
Your babies will always be your babies.

I love clouds too, especially this time of year when there are often Cirrus clouds in the sky but as there is still chance of rain, sometimes those huge cumulus nimbus clouds still sit on the horizon....love them. Will think about the sewing weekend....living one day at a time atm so not sure.

Love the chrysanthemums I hope they flourish in the garden for you. Cloud photo is great - I often lie in the grass and watch the clouds go by very relaxing! May babies are 24 and 22 and still my babies!!
xx

It will be lovely to stitch together that weekend, a longer version of FNWF! It doesn't matter how old they are, they are always our babies.

I can join you virtually though I wish for real. Just have to take time for Elizabeth's 7th birthday party that weekend. Just a break, though!

I think I need that virtual sewing party, like some others. I would love to join you for a good part of the weekend, apart from a couple of things I cant escape from.
It will be fun and I have my project/s chosen.
