Australia Day.......

Australia Day zoom went off well......
I worked on Lucy again and got the to filter block and the side filler block attached........The others I added between the last post I shared and now.........My dad's staying and he thinks I'm crazy...... How am I doing this.....I had to bring the bigger piece in to show him....... Then I show my progress after stitching for awhile and his comment was "well that is very slow & it's going to take a long time"....... Lol......i did agree.......
Green and Gold was the order of the day and I wore my green dress.....
You can see some of the girls wore green and gold or hung up some fabric...... It was once again a short session but great fun and Lucy is progressing.....I started attaching the piece above to the main quilt.......
This gorgeous cactus surprised me in the garden.........
Have a great weekend.......
Catch you later......
Chookyblue......

A very enjoyable afternoon indeed. I did have a green top on but it was more of an olive colour. The cactus flower is beautiful. Hugs, xx

While it will take a long time, Lucy will be beautiful once she is completed.

God bless.

Oh men just don’t get the enjoyment (most of the time) we get from just sitting and stitching. And what a gorgeous quilt Lacy will be….
Our Zoom GTG was a great time for me. 😀👍

Gorgeous cactus! It was a fun chat, and I am determined to get to the bottom of the recalcitrant camera.

I was only able to pop in for a very short while, but it was lovely to see so many girls stitching together. Lucy it’s looking do good. Did you tell your Sad it is about the journey, not the destination?

I'm sorry I missed the Zoom. I rushed home for it and then discovered I hadn't commented on your post. Oh well. Next time.

Your Lucy Blocks are gorgeous! Yes, it's a slow process but Rome wasn't built in a day either. I still have to quilt my EPP. Yep, one day, I'll get to it. Enjoy! ;^)

My dear Chocky, I'm glad that your zoom meeting was so nice.
I was already allowed to participate and it was so nice to meet you ladies.
Your Lucy is turning out so beautiful and I can understand your father. That he sees it that way, most do.
I'm looking forward to the next zoom meeting, have a wonderful week
Kind regards Marika

Even though I love your Lucy blocks, I am not starting on this one.
Looks you all had a great time.

That cactus is beautiful, must be a life lesson in something great coming out of a prickly situation?? Sorry be weren't wearing green and gold, always have had the blue and red, and this year was the first that I saw green and gold items in the shops.....

I am loving your banner.
Don't you love it when a cactus blooms. It is like a paradox of the rough and the delicate.
