Sorry to those who missed the quick zoom this morning...... Well when I say quick we did only go for 4 hrs so pretty quick....... Starting at sparrow's fart as usual if you weren't up early in Oz you missed out......Sorry......
This is what this section was up to...... I've added to it during the week since the last photo I shared......
Buggered up in the centre top as that was supposed to be on a side..... Oh well I'll just add some bits to it and it will work......
We added some new girls to zoom also......
Marika and Ellen from Germany and Jennifer from Australia....
This is what I got to this morning...... Since then I have added a block to the top right.......
Monday we finished harvest...... This paddock should be golden stems of ripened crop..... They are there but there should not be all the green grass....... Usually we would be finished harvest in November early December but with all the rain we only got onto the ground this year........ Harvest was very slow.... The grass has grown heaps and caused issues....... The grain we got was down graded due to all the rain but atleast we got it all off......... Thankfully crap wheat is worth something this year........
So pleased we are done......I suggested we should head the header towards home on Monday afternoon as some rain was forecast. Lucky we did as where the crop is we got 4 inches of rain the next morning........ Only a tiny bit at home and Mr Chooky was able to pick up the header the next morning where we left it and drive the rest of the way home.......
Catch you later.....
Chookyblue.........

Good to catch up, even if it was brief, good progress on Lucy
Thank you for letting me join in - I had a blast, even if you couldn't see me! Lucy is looking very gorgeous, isn't she?
It was lovely to Zoom again. Lucy is looking good. Hugs, xx
Nice progress on Lacy and I’m pleased I got up early to say Hi as our power went off at 7.30am. Expected restoration time 9pm.
It was great seeing you all and your works - thanks for letting me join you and I hope that I will be able to join the next zoom meetings!
Lucy is fantastic
Great to join in with everyone and zoom!!! Lucy is looking great :-) Gosh, that's good that you've had some decent rain, we're hanging out for some here.
Sorry I couldn't join you this time. Hope to be there next time! Love the project you are working on. Glad you managed to get your harvest in! Christine xx

Lucy is coming along well... glad some sort of crop got in....yay
Hugz
Good to hear thecrop is in, even if it wasn't the best one. Lucy is coming along well, lovely blocks. A quick zoom is better than no zoom, hopefully I can join in next time.
Those photos really do show a good contrast and how much the weather can affect things.
Your Lucy looks like she is making great progress. I'm itching to start making my square blocks and begin joining things.....
Thanks for another great zoom. When are we having the next one? LOL
Sorry I missed, but the company we got came about 1 and didn't leave until after supper. Hopefully next time.
You sure got a lot done on Lucy.
God bless.
Thank you for the zoom party once again. It was a joy. I love hearing your Aussie accents. Your zoom quilt is so stunning and growing so much. I guess embroidery will now have to become my zoom project.
I hope you don't break your back moving pipe this week.
Thanks again!
Was great to see you and all the other ladies!
It was a fun zoom time. Even if I didn’t last. But the grandsons loved their pancakes and icecream for breakfast.
Lucy is looking good.
Sorry I missed it. IL's are visiting from Melbourne plus carting kids around to jobs and friends meant I had no "me" time. Fingers crossed for next time.
Sorry to miss zooming...Lucy is coming along nicely...bugger about that paddock, not what you want to be looking at...
The Lucy race is on between you and Lou. Yours is looking beautiful. Well done on finally get the crop off and getting the header home without getting bogged.
