feeling better......

Thankfully I'm on the improve....... Sorry I should have said I turned off the comments on the last post as I could not cope with them.......
Thankyou to those who sent emails and a few of you who messaged and phoned.......
We had days of drab rainy weather...... Perfect when you feel miserable and sick.......
While I'm still on the improve this is my view out the window....the gauze is making it a bit weird in the photo...... The suns been out......Much better then being inside the house for those who think it's rough I got kicked out...... I kicked myself out... It's a long cold walk during the night too the bathroom but otherwise it's perfect.......The Chookshed warms up naturally with a little bit of heating if it's a sunny day....... The lounge is very comfortable to sleep on but I must be getting better as yesterday it started to get uncomfortable. As a person who rises early usually as my body is uncomfortable to lay here for days is very very strange.......But I am happy to say I haven't given Covid to anyone......
Mr Chooky found a present for me yesterday...... He didn't read it's for kids he just saw chickens but hey I'm loving the fact I can do the puzzles...... And I'm sending the lame chicken jokes to him lol......
JOKE "What do you call a chicken in the North Pole?"
today I'm still tucked up in bed with a cuppa but I hope to feel like doing something today.......Slowly......
And I'm enjoying watching the sunrise with stunning colours......and the odd spot of rain....
My sister gave me her netflix login...... I've watched all of The Home Edit......someone mentioned it on a blog who was that?????.......I can't "edit" as I can't "containerise" cause I can't shop is that a suitable excuse? but I wished they would come do the Chookshed....... Maybe they would like an international trip??????
Catch you later.....
Chookyblue......
PS still devastated I can't meet with the girls for morning tea today to start the retreat.......
PSS answer to the joke "lost"

Oh no, sorry to hear all your plans got thwarted by a dose of the Covid. We had it at the end of July; luckily with calving we had no plans to go anywhere so it didn't slow us down too much! I can feel your disappointment in missing so much.....hope you feel better each day - lovely sunrise...hehe with the puzzle book and the funny!

Good to hear you are on the mend, but such a shame about missing out on the retreat! Belated birthday wishes, perhaps when you are feeling properly better again you could have a celebration. Love the chook joke, I think The One And Only Grandkid would enjoy it too.

It sounds like as good a place as any to be in iso. Comfy, you can make a cuppa and are surrounded by things you like. As you feel a little better you may even do a little stitching.

Glad to hear you are on the mend & a belated birthday greeting. I'm also a late winter bub. Pity you missed the retreat and I thought the answer to the joke would have been a "frozen" chicken too. Love the last snap & trying to work out whether it's sunrise or sunset. Raining & windy AGAIN here this morning, so probably more flooding in & around Gippsland. Take extra care & hugs.

Good to hear you are feeling a bit better. Take care of yourself, and never worry that you don't feel like responding to comments. We understand! In fact, don't answer this one, just have another cuppa and rest.

Love your bed in the shed. Its almost camping outside. The fresh air must be like a medizin. Hope you will be better soon.
