celebrations, cutting, cake, churn.............

Thank goodness zoom was yesterday because the early temps are way lower this morning......a very chilly week is coming up......
CELEBRATIONS with friends of the Chookshed's 10th birthday
Zoom was a full of great progress for everyone.....
CUTTING lots of fabrics for two projects as it turned out in the end.......
Lots of 1930s squares to add to a project.....
So pretty all lined up here......
Love my bloc-loc ruler..... First time I have used it and I'm in love....
Once I remembered to sit the ruler the right way.....
CAKE as per tradition made by Mick...... complete with sparkler...... thanks heaps
CHURN Dash chatter......I blame Ellen for this double churn dash ..... More about it in another post.......
As Gail calls us the "Chookshed Stitchers" we had 32 bloggers popping in and out during the day...... From Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Germany, Norway, UK, USA
Keep the love of blogging alive......
Catch you later.....
Chookyblue......
PS Still behind on emails..........maybe tomorrow i'll catch up if it rains...........

It was delightful while there! Sorry I couldn't stay awake to play longer, but at least I was there for the cake.

Glad you had a wonderful productive day with fellow stitchers. Sorry I didn't make an appearance. I have never see or heard of that ruler. Love your double churn dash. Any cake left?

Thanks for a fun party! Well done on cutting all those squares.....my least favourite part of the whole process.

What a fun party. Thanks for inviting us along. Like the others, I got quite a bit done, despite popping in and out. Mick did well with the cake. It was delicious…and we still have leftovers to enjoy. The double churn dash looks so effective, and much simpler than you expect. 30s are my favourite fabrics. What will you be making with them? I was also happy to get lots of cutting out done. Unlike Jennifer, I quite like that part of the process, getting everything prepped to get stuck into the sewing. I can’t believe how many of us were binding quilts yesterday. Lots of finishes will be on the boards.

The joy of the zoom meeting is all over the blogpost. Love the squares you've been cutting but also the dubble churn dash blog... cant wait to read about it... ;)...

We were a few days away. Me and my HB. Quality time together... so now way I could join zoom. But hope soon to be there. It has been almost a year since my last visit.

Enjoy your sunday. Hope the sheep shearing is over... ;)...
