I am a bit busy....have some lambing problems and currently have 7 ewes in
the yards and 4 lambs.........of these mothers 4 are still down and I
have managed to get 3 up.....3 are yet to lamb..(1 right now)...the lambs and mothers are
not mothering up so I think I am going to be the proud mum to "quads"
.........let me tell you I need this like "a whole in the head"..........the
kids think it is great but it just means MORE work for me and I don't have
enough time as it is...........
So blogging is bottom rung and I will be back when I can..........which also
means answering emails too - sorry but I just wanted to let you know I will
be busy for awhile and wanted to leave you with some cute pics I took in all
the drama of my day..........

OH they are gorgeous It takes me back to when I was a little girl on my Aunts farm we used to feed the lambs with bottles I loved it Pitty you are not next door I would be in my glory Good luck with the feeding MUM.

They are lovely Donna. I know what you meen by this. i lost one in my arms last year because the mother didnt feed her and the lamb didnt take the bottle. This year we did not have any. We only have a few for our camping guests

This story takes me back to my childhood of helping my mum feeding all the orphan lambs and I could never work out why they were born in such a cold time of the year as I thought they were meant to arrive in the spring but nature doesn't always work out right. Hope all goes well and not too many more become orphaned

They are cute but....handraising 4 lambs has got to be very demanding and a lot of work. You feed them at least every four hours right? Day and night. Mixing the formula you give them, out to the barn to feed them, back in, clean the equipment, and start all over again. I am sure I left out some steps and I am already tired. Good luck, Sweetie. Hope you can find a bit of time to let us know how things are going. Don't forget to take care of yourself. TTFN...Lilly

loved having pet lambs when we were kids...they were a pain in the you know what for Dad tho..LOL...good luck with the lambing....! don't forget to take a couple of minutes for you occasionally!

Oh good lucky Donna. That sounds like my childhood with lambo, rambo, sunshine etc.. very cute but so demanding and noisy. Great photos again too!
They are cute to look at, but I'm sure that taking care of them is lots of work. How old do they have to get before you can relax a bit, I wonder. I hope that you are able to get some help and some rest.
