it's gunna be a stinker..........

Is that just an Aussie saying???.............it means it is going to be very hot...........the last four days have been mid to high 30's.............but the forecast tells me from now til Sat (6 days) we have nothing under 40deg (40-43C) (104-109F)...........not looking forward to it............hopefully the power won't go off like it did on Friday night for 16hours.........
you'll find me in the pool, chasing hoses morning and night to keep up with watering my garden and a bit of stitching in the air conditioner.............

.........take care til next time.....Chookyblue.........
PS enjoy your snow if you have some..........

Keep cool and I hope your power stays on!

Wow...104-109, sounds like Eastern Washington mid-August...more like only a dream when our temps have been dipping below freezing and snow is threatening (I'm actually looking forward to some skiing soon woo hoo!!) But I'm wondering, is your heat accompanied by humidity as well????
~Stay cool! Andrea~

Yes, it is a stinker! We have basically stayed inside all day so far. Slack and lazy really... but it's far nicer in the air con!! Hope you're managing to stay out of the heat. I feel sorry for our farmer husbands today though.

Yep, stinker or scorcher, or in Southern California, that would likely be a Santa Ana as the heat would be caused by hot, dry winds. No snow here. No rain either. Just cool weather and overcast skys. I don't envy you the heat. Stay cool!

No, stinker is a good word here as well. I live in Long Beach, California and today was gorgeous. But, then we are heading into our winter months now.

Our weather has finally dropped back into the mid 20's, so thankful for that, those 38 degree days with humidity are just too hard. Happy swimming :)

Good luck staying cool while we try to stay warm.
