Hmm, they're a bit behind the times; need to get their skates on and come up with something useful, quickly. Fingers crossed.

Hi Chooky, just saw you on Prime Local news, they didn't show a lot, I bet a lot of it was cut, but at least you were able to have some say. Here's hoping that the authorities come up with some better options.. we still think that the low interest loans, that were available back in the 70's & 80's are a good option, as farmers were able to stay in control of things and were able to pay for feed etc and also pay their farm bills which in turn kept the local communities going.
I would have much preferred to have seen you talking about quilting or something that gives every one pleasure,
Here's hoping that the powers that be and our city and large township cousins come to realise that it is just not the farmers "whinging", but it is also the loss of their Australian produced food.
Chookasdad is working up Narribri way and he said last night that he has not seen the country so bad, last week he was near Bathrust and the week before near Molong, and it is also bad here around our area. At least we are "only" feeding 64 sheep now not 4000
cheers & hugs Lorraine xxx
