death surrounds you in a drought...............

poor lamb............I won't show you what the crows did.....but it breaks my heart everytime......
we have some feed issues happening with our lambs too..........
we need to sort it out but sourcing feed and at what price if you can get what you need is unbelievable.............
feed prices are going up weekly............getting harder to source..............
not a good day here...........

Oh Donna. The daily devastation you have to deal with daily. Here's hoping the government recognises the needs to support our primary producers.

Good luck and God bless.

Donna, the devastation you are having to live with is so unfair. The weather is such a fickle friend and no-one, human or animal deserves to go through what you are. Hoping you get relief from the weather and that your government recognise's your plight.

Sad day for you indeed. Mother Nature can be so cruel. Hang in there, you are doing a great job.

Ah Chooky, so sad - and so hard to live with. Sending you a big hug and hoping that something happens soon to lift your spirits and improve this terrible situation. Thank you for keeping us in touch with what so many people are going through right now.

Oh Chooky my heart goes out to you. We live in a rural area on a couple of acres. We obviously don't farm anything but hear the stories of farmers within our area. How I wish the people that run our country and state could come and live in your shoes for a while. We have issues hear about the NSW (Newcatle Sydney and Wollongong) and we have just endured a half hour news bulletin about things happenning in Bali (apparently thats all the news for today) and then at the end of the bulletin was a little piece about the drought in the north east of NSW, it ppps me off to no end!!!! I mentioned to a friend today about your post on the great divide and my husband said he heard the show on the ABC from Sydney that no one knew what a drought was. It just beyond amazes me. I wish I lived near and could help you in some way like taking the babies away so you could get a nights sleep. Even though I don't know you at all my hugs to you and your family for providing food to our family and others. XOXOXOX

My heart goes out to you, we are in the same boat. Take heart in the fact that so many of us are at breaking point but still hanging on. Things will get better but if only we didn't have to see our stock suffer in the mean time.
