wonders will never cease

Omg girls i'm sewing without you......
In tidying up the chookshed we delved onto an unknown box for Fairy Girl (yes I know she's too big for that name now but it won't change now) to see what was in it..... I have been looking for mindless sewing..... Look what I found.....
I'm going to post this and get cutting..... But oh they are so pretty all lined up prefectly like this.....
Even better like this
Storms around last night..... Wet weather makes me feel like sewing......
this photo taken over the dam... Just on my phone not amazing but wow what a show we got last night.....
More building up this arvo.....
Harvest is starting in the district so of course we have rain forecast for the next week.....
ok away to cut and sew.....
Catch you later..... Chookyblue.....

So pretty. I think I have some of those fabrics. They’ve been around for a while. Sew good to get them out and made into a quilt. We always like rain, but please let them get the harvest done.

I can not believe you are sewing without us! Still, it's lucky you found something simple to work on and such beautiful fabrics. I went camping M-F and there were big signs to watch for farm equipment as they were harvesting, it rained almost the entire time I was gone so I didn't see any! Rain sometimes comes at the most unwelcome times!

The Chookshed is a perfect place to be when it's raining.

Lovely fabrics Chooky, what a great bundle to find in your stash.... gotta love the rain, it's so rare these days that one just can't help but get a tad excited when it occurs.. we had rain yesterday and I was trying to use all my senses to enjoy it - the smell, the sound, touch, and of course look at it.. Lets hope we get more everywhere... take care..xx

Our children, will always be our children, no matter how grown up they get. So they can always have their childhood names.
