New baby......

The presents I get.......

Brand new..... Brought home from the yards by my darling Mr Chooky...... Not quiet what I needed but......
Freezing cold day..... He was wet and muddy but still warm.......
He's had a bath, blow dry and a feed.... Now snuggled up on my lap wrapped up warming him up......I don't normally bath a lamb but......
He's tiny so we'll see if he lives but yes he'll live in the kitchen in front of the fire this week....... It's a chilly day..... Not much is going to happen here today......woops......
EDIT sadly he died.......
Keep the love of blogging alive.....
Catch you later......
Chookyblue......

He is so cute. Is he an orphan or rejected? He is a lucky lamb having mumma Donna. He will keep you warm too.

Oh how gorgeous is that! And how nice to be pampered with a warm place by the fire.

Oh, adorable!
I recall my father-in-law keeping runt piglets in a box in front of the open oven door when he needed a place to keep them warm. You do what you have to do. Good of you to play mama!

Why did he come home to you?

Adorable ... presently knitting with Aussie yarn that Cheryl set me a while back. The cure lamb made me think of that. lol

Brings back wonderful memories...Loved the bum lambs when I was growing up. One time we had 7 bum lambs and 2 puppies penned up in our house -- they were so fun to feed with a coke bottle and nipples. Was freezing cold late winter in Montana!

Awe...so cute! My former neighbor raised pygmy goats and those little ones were so tiny when they were born. I used to stuff them inside my jacket to warm them when it was cold outside. lol
