spring has sprung...........

"Cecile Brunner" is flowering beautifully...........love the fragrance...........

the chickens are getting more feathers......................
the lambs are growing............we have 6 at the moment.............see the little one at the front...........that's "Addy" she got mis-mothered at lamb marking............she's doing it tough but I think has finally headed in the right direction.......she went missing the other day and we found her in a big post hole.............
"Circles" the lamb below....(he's been with us for about a month now)............obvious name as "circles is blind and when we got him he had bad eyes and walked around in circles..........now his eyes have cleared up but he is blind.............he'll just hang out in the sheds yard for the rest of his life.............he can walk in sort of straight lines now...........we call out and keep calling and he makes it back to us..............
A better photo of the white calf.........

I went to some open gardens today so hopefully i'll get the camera downloaded soon and share some pics..........
Catch you later..............

Oh circles is adorable. If I didn't have herding dogs I'd offer to adopt him. Oh and I just found out my chances of getting to my first GDITC are pretty slim. I'm so disappointed and pouty!

I adore this post! I think it says a lot about a family who keep a blind lamb forever!! Gosh they really get you don't they? Love the calf...

Some of my fondest memories are of having pet lambs on the farm growing up. So sad about the little blind one but at least he'll be cared for.

Chooky, time to hang up your farm boots and become a photographer. That second rose is beautiful!!!!

Cuties everywhere at your place just now, love those little chicks, they are sweet. Cecile Brunner in bud is one of the prettiest roses I think, so dainty, and gorgeous scent too.
