Tilda Orange.........

This quilt was started on a weekend when Anni and Kylie came to stay link here....when I found that post it was 2018......wow time flies........ Anni had the fabrics and wanted a sample for the shop (sadly shop closed now) for when the new range arrived..... We started on this design.... Anni had a lovely blue linen to mix in with hers and I worked on the sample for her until we ran out of blue linen...... She had more at the shop so it was sewn as much as we could...... Anni had some left over fabrics which she shared with Kylie and myself so I started making a version for myself using white as that's what I had on hand........
Annette came to sew for a weekend later last year and I got the borders onto the quilt .....
Annette was sewing a Tilda quilt that weekend also............
This one was quilted by Jackson as Annette was able to take the quilt back and he quilted it for me...... It was around the time of very unreliable postage so I wasn't keen to mail it off.... So once quilted it took a bit of time to get back to me.......I used the same border fabric to bind it with.........
too many pics once again...........
Can't think of the name of the Tilda range that this comes from.....
Actually got the better of me and I went googling once I knew it was 2018
The range is Bird Pond for the internal quilt..............not sure what the border is from.........
Tilda is pretty......
you can't really see it but I used a different orange Tilda fabric for the backing......its got pink/aqua flowers on it...........
the smaller prints made the 4 patches and the bigger prints made the bigger blocks............
once again having fun but challenging finding enough different quilt photo locations..........
started another binding last night and could have it finished tomorrow..........
Not sure who will get this quilt but I think I will give it to someone I love.......
For now it will sit in the bundle of quilts.........
So good to have another finish.......
The binding was finishing on the zoom binding marathon on Sunday......
The smallest of all the quilts to bind........
Tilda Orange measures 67x60in.......
these flowers are a weed growing in the paddocks I found today..........
weeds but pretty............
We were checking a few sheep for flies but the other major job was to find some fire wood because if we don't need it tomorrow it will be very soon.........big cold weekend coming up so everyone will have there fires going if they haven't lit them yet...........
OK best go.....i've got more binding to do.........
Keep the love of blogging alive..........
Catch you later..........
Chookyblue.......

I see you were game to do the photo shoot by the creek.

Very pretty quilt, lovely with the simple design. It's supposedly spring here but it's still chilly and the furnace is still in use. Happy stitching!

Yay, we get to see those finishes as you bind them. You put some time in to take all of those beautiful, scenic photos with your quilt as well. Love it!

What a fun photo shoot! That is a really pretty finish, and I love the setting of the photos. Looks like you were having a picnic on a big, old tree trunk.
Can't believe all your binding! I am still on the last side of the quilt I was binding during Zoom.
What pretty weeds.

Very pretty finish and appropriately photographed by water. Keep that mojo going in the sewing room.

That quilt is very pretty. Someone will be very lucky to receive it. I’m glad you found some wood. Our heater is definitely choofing away, as it’s already cold here. Frosts expected over the next couple of days.
