Sprinkles.......

I've had this quilt kit for a long time....... Very long time....... Then it finally got cut back in Oct 2020 I got it cut and laid out on the design wall - you can see the fabrics etc and still sat for some time before it really started to get sewn....... It started as a leader ender in Jan 2021.......
bring on the Chookshed birthday last June 2021 and I got the inside of the top together here and here...........
I love the paisley prints in this one also........
This quilt got finished when Annette visited last Oct by adding the borders after i fixed a bit.......
I called it Sprinkles as 100s &1000s are tiny balls..... Sprinkles are logs and it feels colourful and fun like Sprinkles........
When I was binding and 1/2 done I remembered I was going to scallop the border..... Oops to late wasn't going to be unpicking the binding so straight edges it is........
This quilt has now gone off to a friend be who had recently been diagnosed with cancer........ She can be sprinkled with love.......

That's lovely now finished & I'm sure it will be well loved. I'm still pondering over your leaders & enders as in the quilt itself, as I know them as the tiny bits we start & finish with under the needle of the sewing machine so you don't get thread knotty bundles. Hope you don't get too much rain as the sunshine has been very lacking this year. Take care & hugs.

It is such a happy color palette, and I think the name is fitting. It is a very cheerful and thoughtful gift for your friend.
I like how it was quilted. Did you choose that design, or do you leave it up to Jackson?
Love that last photo!
Yeah, I know what a rainy day means. It means I will miss a third Zoom in a row (depending on how long you go). I have a doctor's appointment, and then two hours of physical therapy going on about the time you usually get started.

If it rains a lot that means no outside work and we can zoom?
