June Long Weekend Activities - come along.......

Sorry international viewers this is a post for the Aussie girls but if you want to jump on a jumbo now you could make it……………… could find a spare bed.....

For the June long weekend I am going to the biggest combined rodeo and campdraft in the Southern Hemisphere. It is at Coonamble in North West NSW. Pop approx 3000 people. This weekend is huge for Coonamble. Many volunteers are involved.
They have rodeo and campdraft all weekend, bush poets breakfast and a quilt display. Yes that is right a quilt display and I will be there. Local quilters in this display which is jam packed into the local library. Always looks fantastic. They also have a raffle of a quilt which is pictured below. I will have to make sure I have get some raffle tickets in this one.
Honeysuckle Cottage will be there with a display of goodies to purchase....yummy....more sewing....
So if you want a great weekend away or a day out head to Coonamble where all the action is on the June long weekend

oh the quilt is beautiful! how long did that take! wow I don't have the patience!

I am a big fan of retro patterns from the 60's and 70's! love them! can't get enough of them! if you ever find any please let me know! I'd love to swap some fabrics for them! our local store never has any...
