For Khrissy.......

Wow what a day........we ended up with 55mls of rain.............just wonderful rain............soaking in ran...........we have been very lucky..........still very patchy and i know others not to far away have not been so lucky.............
Anyway I've had numerous emails back and forwards with Khrissy @ Baisinolil.........
this post of for you Khrissy to show you what I got done....
what happened after your cuppa did you get that quilt basted?????

I've been trying to tidy up the Chookshed..........but in order to do some of that I had to tidy up my Natures Journey fabrics...........they are all over the cutting bench................so I cut the rest of the background fabrics................and also put the weaveline on the back..............drew the circles or squares and they are all ready to stitch..........
and just to show you better progress here is another block done for Feb...........slowly catching up..........but feels good to be finished with some of the fabrics and I can put them away for now...........
Fairy Girl is working on a couple of projects and dreaming of more.........
It's been a great day and to top it off daylight saving ENDS tonight........
SWEET DREAMS.......
Catch you later......

So pleased you've had rain - crossing my fingers that you get more, Chooky. There's been lots of rain on our trip, especially on the north coast. Sunshine at Bondi this morning - great for the wedding we're off to this arvo - but the last 2 days it's been bucketing down - I keep wishing we could send you some. Lovely blocks. Lovely to have your girl home too. Hello from us to all your family and to Miss Jules too.

We have had so much rain - I am really happy for you that you have had some and of the right kind - also good to see your progress I was thinking I may need to be more persistent with my whipping...
i was like you - had to tidy my sewing room before I could do much of anything...

One prepared kit by the sounds of it. Ready to go whenever you are. Isn't it amazing how much mess we can create getting started. Lucky you to finally have the time and cool weather to play. I'm glad Fairy Girl is enjoying playing too. It sounds like you have had better rain than us. We've probably had about 60mm all up since it started on Friday. Are you getting any run off or just good soaking stuff? Those oats might get a wriggle on now, if they've hung in.
