everyone needs a friend.......

The only useful sewing to show for the day.....
A sewing day with friends.......... It's been forever since I've had a sewing buddy in the Chookshed..... Besides the Chookshed Stitchers......
Yummy chicken and sweet corn soup for lunch.......
Nibbles and bubbles mid afternoon.......
Making the first and only block so far...... Miss Jules Twister quilt getting the first border on in the background........
Now I'm forcing her to cut it so she doesn't put it off forever....... Lol......
Catch you later......
Chookyblue......

Ha! Ha! In the first picture of the churn dash block, it looked so small, I thought it was one of Janet O's mini blocks!! The real size is more like it!! Wonderful!! Glad you had so much fun with your buddies in the Chockshed!! Keep warm!!

Like Kris, at first glance I thought the initial photo was of a mini block.
Nibbles and bubbles--that has a nice ring to it. :)
Sounds like a fun day at the Chookshed!

Looks like fun! Nothing better than sewing, friends and champagne (and I'll add coffee). I'm meant to be going to the quilt show this weekend in Melbourne. We've had covid in the house five different times now. We don't spread it within just obtain outside lol. My daughter had been sick all last week - 16 negative rat tests throughout the week. Took her to a respiratory clinic and they said the new variant is evading the rat tests and she has now been diagnosed with covid. It's tricky as I'll be wearing a mask, but still a close contact but her infectious period would have all been last week! So not sure if I'll make the show or not.
