Stitchery Swap Completed

Finally another project completed .........it will be hard to post this one as I want to keep it for me..........hopefully my swap partner *^#$%#&%#$&* will love it like I do............now the next problem...........when am I going to town next to post it off............

It has been a magnificient day here where I live............very warm for late August.........and with that brings my biggest summer enemy..............snakes...........I saw the first one today........a big brown snake and I want some cool weather to get rid of him for a bit longer..........I need to get into a few more areas of the garden.......

....we are also needing some rain for the crops and grasses..........things are closing up quickly with this warmer weather..............

Finally sunset Monday afternoon over town...........

You swap partner will be delighted! Such a lovely bag and why don’t you make yourself another one? Snakes in my garden, I can’t imagine! We had a little frog the other day, that’s about the most strange animal I know of that lives in my tiny city garden.
Beautiful sunset photo!

She's a lucky girl receiving this bag. We also have some wonderful autumndays. Cold at night (minus 2 this night) and warm sunny days. Have to enjoy it before the autumn storms comes.

Isn't that bag a pretty shade of blue. You did good!

That's a great bag. I don't like snakes much either but finding them around here is not likely although in Kentucky it is, DH saw one last week when he was using the weed-eater.

Very pretty Donna, I'm sure your partner will love it. We used to get red bellied blacks, it is early for the snakes.

You made a beautiful bag there and I understand you for not wanting to send it away. It is funny but I am making a bag like that at the moment (well with some stitchery) and I used the same blue fabric in my blue sampler. The world is small! Take care.
PS: we don´t have snakes here, just huge snails which eat everything! Disgusting!

You can come and live in the Netherlands! We have lots of rain and no snakes :). Our summer wasn't great and we are approaching autumn now.
I have to admit, I would love to be back. I loved the Australian summers (but then we lived in the suburbs and not in the country).
I hope you get some rain and cooler weather.

Of course your swap partner will like the bag, it is lovely. I think I would die if I came across a snake in my garden (they don´t live in Iceland).

Hi, that looks great....gosh, who would have guessed that it would be blue?
Snakes already, I will have to attack my garden with vigour in the next week, I don't like clearing out the undergrowth when the odds are on pulling out a big blacky!
we had a ml or two here in last few days, enough to dampen the urea in and the last flush of sowing.
