They look very elegant! You must have a wonderful time seeing all the different wildlife at your place.
I've seen them up close at Australia Zoo, they have beautiful eyes! How great to see them in the wild.
They are beautiful. We have the Sandhill cranes here, which are similar and I get excited each time I see them. They are awesome.
Beautiful birds. Great photos.
The are huge! We have some cranes which are very similar. Thanks for sharing.
Great photos Chooky. My DH loved to see the broglas and asked where about in Aussie you live.
Also showed him the goannas.
Wow, how awesome to see them out and about. They look like beautiful birds.
Beautiful! What a treat to see such wildlife now and then. I've never heard of a Brolga, but they look a lot like the blue herons that we see around here sometimes. They are a very tall bird with a huge wingspan and are lovely to watch when they fly.
Thanks for sharing them with us!

How good for you as i know you love them.
Gosh that would be great to see in the wild not in a Zoo
They look very beautiful. No birds here. Nothing but snow, snow and more snow.
Wow, they are beautiful, and so tall!
Beautiful birds -- how fortunate you got to see them.
Sweetie and I went down toward the coast a few years ago -- saw a field with something funny grazing -- looked like brown sheep. However, we got closer and found that they were actually Sandhill Cranes with their heads down (we were seeing them from the back.) It was a thrill because we never expected such a treat!
