quilts and floods.........

Lets start with the good...........I found this one in the box of goodies just waiting for the borders to go on.........it wasn't even on the list of UFO's I had forgotten about it............and I am embarrassed to say it was mentioned on about the 2nd month of my blog in this post..........there is a bit of a story to go with it.
Bound to the Prairie II is the fabric.
Questions of the day..............to quilt or send it out to be quilted?????
The sun came out for a few hours this afternoon...........the creek has hardly dropped today..........it is sitting high...........
washed out roads will be so rough to drive on.........i'll be quite a while before we see a grader.............
the water is draining so slow and well it is so clear...........
more storms floating about............

This stretch makes me stay at home...........with out anything esle.........
school and work are cancelled tomorrow
Catch you later..............

Still no rain over here, what on earth is happening to our little ole planet? I live on the wettest coast of NZ and we are in drought - go figure!

What a weather you have over there. We are experiencing similar floods and some inland inundation that is pretty bad. I hope everything is going to be fine.

I do hope things improve soon for you. How common is it for you to get flooding like this? Espec. at this time of year?
Love your garden photos from earlier - beautiful.

Another quiet day at home! :) I'm hoping my two can go to pre-school for their end of year Christmas breakup things on Wed/Thurs. Shall have to wait and see and beg their dad to drive us in! Good on you for getting the quilt done.... who is it for? I'd get it quilted by someone else only cause I know I wouldn't get it done!

Last night on NZ Tv News we saw flood waters up to folk's rooves in parts of NSW.
Your is bad enough....I am presuming your unharvested crops are now completely spoilt? Do you carry Insurance against flooding or other crop loss?

Would that big stack of grain in your photos a whlie ago be spoilt too, even if it was covered?
